Harmony Hill was the first Ohio winery to pour under a new Ohio Liquor Law allowing wineries to pour samples and sell bottles at Farmers Markets.

Summer- 2017 - Madeira Farmers' Market

Great American International Wine Competition had more than 1,000 wines entered from 26 states and 8 countries. Those wines were evaluated by a panel of 25 experts from 9 different countries. They included sommeliers, enologists, winemakers, distributors, wine educators and wine writers. Wines submitted to the competition ranged in price up to $449. The Hill sent 2 entries, Melodie and Courante, both garnered SILVER.

We are honored to be one of only two wineries chosen to represent Ohio in this year's "Wines of America" Congressional Wine Caucus Dinner to be held in the nation's capital. Rubato, Rhapsody, Woodwind, Aria, Concerto and Ovation will all be served.

Patti judged her first regional wine competition on Saturday April 16, 2011 after passing her Sommelier's exam in March. She judged 100 different wines along with 5 other judges over 5 hours, choosing the best 3 wines in each of 7 different categories and best of show. She wears her Sommelier pin very proudly, and is already scheduled for her next competition judging at Valley Vineyards on June 4.

After five weeks of intense home study, two days of accelerated classroom work and an exam that "Rivaled my Nursing Boards", Patti passed her Court of Master Sommeliers Introductory Exam in Worthington on March 29, and now holds the title of 'Level One Sommelier'. We are all very proud of her at Harmony Hill.
